Left Bank is a building I have driven past 100s of times in my 20+ years of Living in Leeds. It’s set back slightly from a road in the Headingley area of Leeds. I used to go to (on an almost daily basis) the legendary Murton’s Bakery just across the road. But I never even noticed the old Church that is now Left Bank, an arts space
From the outside it looks like a pretty unspectacular old Church, but step through the the unassuming doors and you are greeted with the most incredible open space. It’s had most (not all) of the old Church stripped out, right back tot he brick work. But what is left behind is a thing a true beauty. What an amazing space!
Monika & Chris had already got married by this point, and I was there to capture the party they had thrown for all their friends and family. It was a great mix of Indian and English wedding vibes, which comes through in the pictures I think…
